Toucan Lamp ("we", "us") runs toucanlamp.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit the site or buy a lamp, and how we use it.
What we collect
- Order details: your name, email, phone number and shipping address, plus what you ordered.
- Payment: card payments are processed by Square. Your card number goes directly to Square and is never stored on our servers. We receive a confirmation that the payment succeeded.
- Messages: anything you send us by email or social media.
- Basic technical data: like any website, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes your IP address and browser information to deliver and protect the site.
How we use it
To make and ship your order, send order and shipping updates, answer your questions, prevent fraud, and meet legal and tax obligations. If you sign up for our email list, we will email you about new lamps and offers. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Who we share it with
Only with the service providers needed to run the shop: Square (payments), Cloudflare (website hosting), our shipping carriers and label provider (to deliver your order), and our email provider. We do not sell your personal information or share it for targeted advertising.
How long we keep it
We keep order records as long as needed for fulfillment, warranty support and tax and accounting rules, then delete them.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, subject to legal requirements. Email birdy@toucanlamp.com and we will respond promptly.
Children
The shop is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If we update this policy, we will post the new version here with a new date.
